Hike: Reinsjøfjellet 726 masl.

The hike to Reinsjøfjellet is a demanding hike to the highest mountain
in Overhalla. Trip starts with 800 meters walking along the road
from the parking area in Leirdalen to Tømmersjøen. From Tømmersjøen
follow the wooden trail to Grytsjøen. Follow green arrow-sign to
Reinsjøfjellet. Turn west at the green arrow-sign by Finntjønna.
Follow marked trail. 9, 3 km each way. Please note: Reindeer in the area.

Directions:

Drive FV17 to the roundabout at Ranemsletta and drive over the
Ranemsletta bridge. Drive east on FV7040 for 9,5 km and take the
exit to Skistad. Turn right in the Y-junction after the farms at Skistd.
Drive on toll-road to the parking area in Leirdalen. You can also drive
FV7040 all the way from Grong or Namsos.
