Rakkavika fishing and recreational area
Rakkavika is a scenic public outdoors area on Jøa island, accessible for everyone. You can access the area on foot, with prams, on bicycle and with wheelchair. Here you will find 1200m of gravel path with several picnic areas along the way, beach area and a fishing pier. The picnic area has benches, tables and BBQ spots. Some toilets also available. The area is a great viewpoint out over the ocean. Marked walking trail out to Hovsodden, the westernmost point on Jøa island. Great for both sunny days and windy days!
