Hiking suggestion: Herlaugs trail on Leka

Marked round-trip in the Leka mountains with breath-taking views
and many geological points of interest. Trail follows dry and solid
mountain landscape. Detours to Vattind, Kolsettuva and Hundøyran
are highly recommended. Start from Struten up Tverrfjellet. Follow
rocky terrain past Steinsvatnet and towards Nordtjønna and Ørntuva.
Follow Markavegen the last km.

Directions: 

Drive FV17 north towards Bindal. Take FV802 to Gutvik, then onto FV771.
Ferry to Skei. Drive south on the island. Park by the picnic area in
Briktdalen or by Struten.
