Lierne Geology Park

Lierne Geology Park is part of the exchibition at the Lierne National Park Visitor Centre. The park was opened on the 12th of July 2012, the same day as its "sisterpark" Frostviken Fjällpark in Gäddede, Sweden was opened. The two parks are thematically linked with similar designs. There is a campfire area, a picnic area, a bear "den" and a lot of information in the park, aslo in English. The park features a large stone circle where the larger stones are rock type and the smaller stones are the minerals each rock type is made up of. Here both young explorers and adults can learn and play. Please do not leave any trash in the park and respect the installations.

The park is always open.
