Walk: Railway trail in Overhalla

Jernbanestien («the railway trail”) opened in 2020. The trail is
currently 4 km long from Svalikrysset junction at Ranemsletta to
Øysvoll on Melavegen road. The trail is universally accessible and
stretches through beautiful farmland. From Jernbanestien you can
walk to several connecting places of interest.

Directions:

Drive to Ranemsletta on FV17. In the roundabout, take the exit to
Overhalla commune. Park by Haugum mill or other public parking
nearby. Walk up Svalivegen until you find the railway. Several possible
places to park along the road at Øysvoll.
