Suggested walk: The Bridges of Namsos

Brurunden is a universally accessible trail following Spillumstranda and the old railway, via Namsosbrua bridge and the old Namsbrua.
There are benches, activity areas and a shelter along the path, with views of the fjord. The path goes through two tunnels and across a railway bridge. If you extend your walk, you could visit Norsk Sagbruksmuseum and Namdalsmuseet, or follow Jernbanestien (the railwaypath) to Høknesøra swimming area.

Directions: You can park around Nord Universitet or Namdalshagen in Namsos city centre. You can also park by the sports facility or the shops on the south side of the river.
