Hiking: Trails in Raudberglia

The official gateway to Lierne/Lijre National Park is in Rudberglia in Muru. There is a small hut, a campfire area and an informational sign by Øvre Jakthytta. The path is well-marked with a wooden trail from the start to the cabin by Raudbergtjønna/Røøpsjaevrie. You can follow a signposted trail to the Lierne National Park monument stone. From Raudberglia you can explore the national park and the nearby area of Muru, known in Norway for its many bears. Respect plants and wildlife both inside and outside the national park. Remember to buy a fishing licence if you wish to fish in Raudbergtjønna.

Directions: From E6, drive eastwards on Fv74 towards Gäddede. Turn right by the brown sign to Lierne (national park) in Muru. Continue on the toll road to Øvre Jakthytta, pay fee by SMS or cash.
