Hiking:Tunnsjøåsen 344 masl.

The walk up to Tunnsjøåsen is 4 km return on a well-marked path, signposted according to the national standard. The hike has an elevation of approx. 200 meters and is suitable for the whole family. The path starts by Trones school, a couple of minutes walking distance from Namsskogan Family Park. Follow signs past the school to the bridge over Tromselva river and Tronesfossen waterfall.  Tunnsjøåsen is a popular trail among locals and there is a clear path to the top, where a beautiful view awaits. Feel free to bring a small bucket – there are plenty of cranberries, blueberries and cloudberries in the area.

Directions: You have several options for parking in Trones, close to the E6 road: Trones church, Namsskogan Hotell, Namsskogan Familiepark or by Trones school where the signposted path starts.
