Hiking: Håmuren 269 masl, Bangsund

Håmuren (Håmyrfjellet in maps) is a family-friendly hike in Bangsund.
Walk approx. 500-meter south from the parking area, cross the
bridge, then turn left: Håmyrvegen. The trail is signposted from Fv17
(main road). Follow the gravel road to the right. Follow marked and
signposted trail to the top. 1,8 km each way. Some steep areas can be
challenging in wet conditions. Lovely view in all directions from the
top. Trail marked by Bangsund Vel.

Directions; 

Drive north on E6 from Steinkjer, turn onto FV17 towards Namsos.
Drive to Bangsund. From Namsos you drive south on Fv17 to reach
Bangsund. Park at the parking area by the gas station/shop. Here you
can buy extra food if you need to. Respect private property – do not
park in Håmyrveien, walk from the shop.
