Hike: Steinsfjellet 220 masl.

The trail over Steinsfjellet has a view of Foldadjorden, Abelvær and
Arnøyfjorden. Start by Steine church and cross the road. Follow signs
and trail to the summit. Somewhat steep hike. 1 km to the top. To
walk the round-trip, continue over the mountain down to the road,
then back over the mountain. Walk along the road back to the church.
There are approx. 13 km of marked trails in the area around Steine,
Ramstad, Steinsneset and Abeltuva. Some of these trails are old roads.

Directions:

From Namsos, drive Fv769 to the ferry Lund - Hofles. Follow the road
for 10 min. from Hofles, towards Rørvik, then drive south towards
Abelvær on 768. Park at Steine Church.
