Hike: Lepptinden 358 masl Salsbruket

The trail to Lepptind 358 masl passes by Lepptindtjønna or Setermarka,
depending on where you start. From Lepptind you get a view over
Opløfjorden and the ocean. The trail passes through some marshland
and forest in Setermarka. 4,8 km to the top from this starting point.
From the lit trail (Oplø) to the top the trail is 3,4 km. This trail passes
by “Tårnet” a marshy area with obvious signs of earlier peat extraction.
There is a bench at Lepptindtjønna.

Directions:

Drive Skrøyvdalsveien FV776 from Høylandet to Salsbruket or take
the Hofles – Geisnes ferry and drive to Salsbruket. Park by the exit,
350 meters from Setran Gård. Here there is shared parking for
Galtnesvegen and Lepptind. You can also start by the lit trail in Oplø.
