Krona is a family-friendly mountaintop by Aglvatnet on Otterøya.
The marked trail starts furthest west on Aglvatnet. The hike is steep,
but you will get an amazing view over the ocean and the Namdalen
coast from the summit. 1,6 km each way. Not far from Aglen you will
also find Ravnholet, an exciting cave accessible via stairs in the cave
entrance.
Directions:
Drive a few km north onFV769 from Namsos, turn left towards
Otterøya and follow signs to Aglen. Park by the beginning of the trail
(signposted). There is very limited parking here, and we ask that you do not park along the road. Please be considerate of private property and farmed lands.
If you are staying at Aglen Camp & Bobilparkering camping you can walk from there. About 1 km to walk from the camping to the start of the trail.
